Eagle Engineering Eagle Air Scrubber Industrial Mist Dust Smoke Removal System

Eagle Air Scrubber

Eagle Engineering's Air Scrubber removes sub-micron contaminants, including mist, dust, and certain smoke particles, from industrial environments. Available in standard sizes from 5,000 to 40,000 CFM with AMCA certified fans and multi-pass moisture eliminators.

Airborne mist, dust, and smoke in industrial facilities aren't just air quality issues. They create equipment degradation, safety exposure, and compliance risk. The Eagle Air Scrubber was built to eliminate the problem at the source.

Contamination Removal Process

Wash Section

The adjustable wash section forces the wetting of contaminants by mixing incoming contaminated air with a high volume of water (coolant). The contaminated air and water are accelerated through the wash section, increasing static pressure.

Drag Conveyor

The system provides an area for static pressure drop, allowing contaminants to drop out of solution. The drag conveyor continuously removes settled contaminants during operation.

Moisture Eliminator

The moisture eliminator removes water from the clean air by impingement. The air changes direction several times as it passes through, progressively drying before discharge to the plant atmosphere.

System Highlights

Sub-Micron Contaminant Removal

Engineered to capture mist, dust, and certain smoke particles at the sub-micron level, protecting workers and equipment from airborne contamination in demanding industrial environments.

5,000–40,000 CFM Capacity Range

Standard sizes span 5,000 to 40,000 CFM, scaling from single-station applications to large open-bay industrial environments without custom engineering.

AMCA Certified Fans & Motors

All fans and motors carry AMCA certification for reliable, tested airflow performance. No guesswork on capacity or efficiency at installation or over time. Sound attenuators are available to meet your in-plant sound specifications.

Multi-Pass Moisture Eliminators

Multiple-direction air flow changes within the unit progressively dry the air stream, preventing condensation and mist carryover downstream of the scrubber. Eliminators work by impingement, causing the air flow to change directions several times as it passes through.

Industrial-Grade Steel Construction

Built from industrial-grade steel throughout. No lightweight components that degrade in harsh manufacturing, aggregate, or processing environments.

Standard & Custom Configurations

Standard units cover most industrial applications. Custom configurations are available for facilities with non-standard CFM requirements, space constraints, or specialized contaminant profiles.

Case Studies

REPRESENTATIVE EXAMPLE · AGGREGATE PROCESSING

Aggregate Facility Resolves Airborne Dust Problem with Eagle Air Scrubber at 20,000 CFM

A high-throughput aggregate processing facility was experiencing airborne dust levels that exceeded safe working thresholds near the primary crusher and screening area. After installing a 20,000 CFM Eagle Air Scrubber, particulate levels dropped within regulatory limits and equipment wear rates from dust ingestion decreased significantly.

REPRESENTATIVE EXAMPLE · MANUFACTURING

How a Manufacturing Plant Eliminated Coolant Mist Buildup and Improved Air Quality with the Eagle Air Scrubber

Coolant mist generated by CNC machining operations was accumulating on surfaces, creating slip hazards and degrading electrical components throughout the facility. A 10,000 CFM Eagle Air Scrubber with multi-pass moisture eliminators captured the mist at the source, restoring air quality and reducing maintenance costs across the shop floor.
